Advances in Hydromechanics (AIH) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed, and interdisciplinary Journal. This journal is published by the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in collaboration with the Iranian Hydraulic Association. It appears four times a year and covers all aspects at the forefront of original research in theoretical, computational, and experimental contributions to fluid flow, transport, dispersion, and transformation processes in different types of water bodies. The AIH publishes full-length research papers, short communications, case studies, and critical review papers reporting on major advances in hydromechanics areas.
The editors welcome original articles and reviews treating surface and subsurface water (wetlands, rivers, lakes, estuaries, oceans, groundwater), and laboratory simulations of natural flows. In addition, the journal is a medium for the publication of interdisciplinary studies on the interactions between different types of water bodies and their boundaries as well as interactions between water and its contents. Articles reporting observational, experimental, modeling, and theoretical investigations are all appropriate.
Within this scope, the subject areas are diverse and may originate from a variety of scientific and engineering disciplines: civil, mechanical, chemical, and environmental engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, limnology, and oceanography.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
There is no charge to submit, process, publish and access the research articles. The cost involved in the publication of articles in AIH is provided by the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili (UMA) and the Iranian Hydraulic Association (IHA).
